TREE CABLING SYSTEMS
Installation of the latest innovations
in static and dynamic cable systems worldwide. The high-tensile-strength,
rope-in-sheath construction is designed to provide the same strength
as traditional steel cable systems with significant reduction
in potential harm to the tree.

This dynamic cabling system
does not require drilling through the stems to secure the
cables, as is the case for steel cables. Such wounds
to the tree can be sources for decay and can compromise
the structural integrity of the tree. |

CASE STUDY: A double lead at the trunk
base was never preventively structurally pruned when this
sugar maple tree was young. As the tree grew, the
double trunks thickened, ultimately growing against each
other, causing the tree to be at risk of failing by splitting
at the trunk.

THE
SOLUTION: Installation of a dynamic, cabling system
around the three primary leads 2/3rds of the way up the
tree. Sheath protected (black) polypropylene, high-tensile
strength rope is spliced around each lead at a crotch.
